Leadership Skills Course

Leadership is a critical management skill.  It is the ability to guide and motivate a team of people in a common purpose towards achieving a stated goal. The old fashioned view on leadership is that good leaders were born or marked out for leadership early in life.  With the received wisdom of our age we now know that leadership skills can be learned.

In our leadership skills course you will learn;

  • the skills needed to be a good leader
  • how to motivate people
  • how to delegate correctly
  • how to review your own performances
  • leaderships styles
  • the self management needed from leaders.

Leadership Skills is a level 2 core unit awarded by NOCN, which broadly equates to GCSE or NVQ Level 2 standards. It carries with it a credit rating of 3 for the unit and can contribute towards a total of 24 credits which is the required number of credits to achieve a Level 2 Award in Progression.  This is unit can be assessed or non assessed.
